![]() ![]() Read these State of Survival Tips for Beginners to get yourself started off on the right foot. If it's too hard then start on normal difficulty. When first starting out, State of Survival can come across as an extremely complex game for new players to the genre. If you feel the game is too easy then start again on nightmare. From your description I'd say start on "dread zone" difficulty. The best difficulty is the one you enjoy most and that's something you have to figure out yourself. Personally I found dread zone to be the most fun while still being challenging as nightmare zone I felt too punishing to enjoy the game. I don't have a ton of experience with the difficulty modes as I only played them a few hours each. However for the majority of casual players this difficulty may be very challenging or possibly even too frustratingly difficult. It can be a good challenge even to experienced players although just like with any other game, once you mastered the game mechanics you won't have much problems with it. ![]() Then there is "Nightmare zone" which is increases the effects of dread zone and even introduces some more additional difficulty characteristics. It should be a decent challenge for many players and I would say that dread zone feels like the difficulty the game is meant to be played on "Dread Zone" is the second difficulty which is already considerably more difficult. Though to someone knew to the genre it might still be a decent challenge possibly. ![]() At least that's what I felt the difficulty was like. Basically that means it's relatively unlikely you can fail or will lose any community members. Normal is a fairly easy difficulty similar to the normal difficulty in the original State of Decay without breakdown. ![]()
